Haha, nice try (; can i be depressed if something goes wrong with them? mhm... :-d I'm sure I would be
yes i agree. some things you have to get overYou shouldn't let it get you down even the best keeper on this forum have moments where they lose mantids in there stock. It's something most say is part of the hobby and a part of learning to become a better mantid keeper
This is very true. My girlfriend already sprung for an intervention and said that she thinks I may have a problem. I've agreed to cut back to the dozen I have now, until I breed haha!Careful, mantis addiction is a very real problem. Just one mantis can lead you into a never ending spiral of more mantises.
niceee, ive always wanted Spiny flowers ^0^Congrats! I too received a Mexican Grass Mantis ( Bactromantis Mexicana ) from Yen, when ordering a Spiny Flower from him! They're definitely a unique, more stick-bug like mantis. It looks like you have your hands full there! I hope you enjoy them!
no i didn't. it didn't want to eat. everytime i would offer it food, it would refuse it. it couldn't stand and walk properly tooGratz! They're so cute! Did you have any luck with getting the inured one into better health? There was lots of great advice in the health issues topics that helped me when I had a weak or injured nymph.
So true. It started with a single Chinese mantis I found outside in 2013. Now I'm swimming in 500 mantises. More than I can handle, haha.
