I think I got a adult chinese mantis with impared or blind vision as of late my female seems to get in the hunting position and when prey goes near her she seems to either not notice the food flapping or crawling next to her or she just ignores it and she has not laid any ooths yet but I think she prob will sooner or later if only she can catch something to eat and anyone else ever had this kind of behavior on any of their insects?Doe a shorter antenenna thats longer then the other one pose any problems?

She might not be hungry, or she may be declining in old age. This behavior is common.

The difference in antennae length does not impair any of their abilities in captivity.

dont know because she was caught in the wild and katnapper sent her to me so no idea how old she is to be honest
