Me and my Cilnia humeralis are scared of each other.

Hi have a L6 C. humeralis, she has always been jumpy and I'm wondering how other people handle theirs? I'm not scared of her attacking me, but she is so fast when she runs and can jump pretty far. I've had her on my hand inside the terrarium before and she jumped right at me and luckily caught my clothing just before she hit the floor! When anything other than food goes near to her, she will freeze for a few minutes. If it doesn't go away, she will jump and run!! Is it just this species??
