Good catch there Orin! Case of thinking one thing and typing another. I meant "A. gigas" rather then "AGB". I intend to continue to call the critter A. gigas because that name is so well known and commonly used.
I got a copy of "Millipedes" by Shura Sigling for Christmas! Is this the book you carried? Page 176-177 has a nice write-up of Tonkinbolus caudulanus. I think that might the species I have. Its the right size, shape, color, habits, and distribution. It also lists Apeuthes sp as a synonym. I am still trying to dig up information on those 3 known species of Apeuthes.
