Miomantis hatchlings

This is the first time I will have bred this species so I'm not completely aware of what size food the hatchlings can take however does anyone know if they will be ok taking D.melanogaster???

I saw you had a Miomantis ootheca hatch, how are you getting on with them???

pretty good, they are little beasties. They take down the d mels even though they look too big.

That's good to know, sounds like they keep their aggressive appetite throughout their life then

yeah, i have witnessed only one cannibalistic act, at L1. That surprised me.
