Just as a little fyi, I had a milkweed stalk in my female Deroplatys cage today because there were a bunch of grasshoppers on it.

I thought I checked all over but before I knew it she was half way done with a really fat monarch caterpillar. Its been an hour and she's not dead, but she sure is getting plump.

If she croaks I'll update.

 
Should be ok. They generally know what they can and cannot eat.
