Well I didn't spend this Thanksgiving like most do, but I still had a lot of fun with friends and family. For three days, (25th-27th) I was riding my bicycle with a few friends and my brother. At the end of the event, we each had ridden just over 100 miles on bicycles!!! I know 100 miles is no sweat for a professional cyclist, but it was a real challenge for everybody. We rode 27 miles on the first day, 50.1 miles on the second day, and finished up the remaining on trails on the third day. We delt with angry drivers, VERY thick fog on the first day, LOTS of hills and so on. My favorite part was when we rode on the trails, very fast pace! I can tell my thighs are a lot bigger now, but boy, are they sore! I'm part of an organization called the Royal Rangers (basically Boy Scouts, but Christian based) and we did this to earn the 100 mile patch. Prior to this event, I only knew of one other person with one.....

Few pics. :)

A GREAT BIG Congratulations to you, Andrew!!!! :D That's quite an achievement, and one to be most proud of. Thanks for letting us in on it. :) You know, I bet you're the only person here who lost pounds over Thanksgiving!

lol. I didn't loose any weight. I am skinny and tall (135lb. and 6'). I hardly ever gain weight and never loose it (I have nothing to loose lol!)

On a side note, I did spy a female Chinese praying mantis on the 26th while traveling 20mph down a hill on a sign 40ft. away behind me! Sharp eyes. :D

Congratulations thats quite a feat! I feel incredibly lazy now. I'd be worried about being on the road in the fog with cars about.

Dude, seeing how lanky you are... you should buff up!

Say it with me:
