Hi, I just found my first ootheca, I was wondering how i should care for it until it hatches. Also how long should it take to hatch. I believe it to be tenodera. (spelling?) Here is a pic of the ooth (sorry it is so blurry) and the matis I saw near it.

Yep. Tenedora. It will hatch in 4-6 weeks if kept at room temperature. Nothing special you need to do though. Put it in a larger container such as aquarium, net cage, etc. Needs to have small holes to ensure the fruit flies you will need for food cannot escape. I keep them all together until I am left with about ten or so so I can easily manage them. Most of them will probably die so don't get upset when that happens.
