I think I might take a more systematic approach to naming them, ghost 001, ghost 002, ghost, 003.. etc. ha ha i know im boring :p
Yeah. Or if you do multi-generations or multi-ooths, have all from one start with the same letter.

For instance - OOTH A:

Alysa, Ashley, Ava, Audrea, Andrea, Alexis, Amanda, Abby, Autumn

Alex, Allen, Adian, Avery, Adrian, Addison, Austin, Ace, Andrew

Admittedly, that's nowhere near as fun as naming them after their appearance or behavior: Lefty, Spot, Mr. Green Jeans, BeetleEater, Eye-Bitter, Ms. PoopInFace... that sort of thing.

:)

Or Captain Kangaroo! I grew up in Detroit, so I got all the good 'uns. Mr. Dressup. Patches & Pockets. The Ghoul. Sir Graves Ghastly. Oh, these kids now days have no idea what they missed out on!

Mwu-Hahahahahahah!

I like naming mine after looks, behavior, and sometimes the container they get stuck with. I just named a previously unnamed female Carolina "Dead", because she was so shocked when I opened her container that she fell on my bed "appearing dead" for a couple of minutes. I also have one named McMantis because she started out in a clear plastic McDonald's cup that I saved. It made a great nymph container. :D

Ah Deby!

I came across this old thread while looking for something else. I see that my good friend Katt suggested some names, so here are the fifty names for female ghostmantids prescibed by Charon long ago. I may have given them before, but doubt that I shall do so again for a long while, so copy them down:

Agaue, Aktaia, Amphitrite, Autonoe, Doris, Doto, Dynamene, Eione, Erato, Euagore, Euarne, Eudora, Eukrante, Eulimene, Eunike, Eupompe, Galateia, Galene, Glauke,Glaukonome, Halia, Halimede, Hipponoe, Hippothoe, Kymo, Kymodoke, Kymothoe,Laomedeia, Liegora, Lysianassa, Melite, Menippe, Nemertes, Nesaie, Neso, Panopeia, Pasithea, Pherousa, Ploto, Polynoe, Pontoporeia, Pronoe, Proto, Protomedeia, Psamathe, Sao, Speio, Themisto, Thetis, & Thoe

These are all blessed and sanctioned by the Great Mantis Goddess (BbHN) and should keep you busy for a while. Good luck!

Sorry, Phil! I already named them Dexter and Brian from one of my favorite shows, "Dexter". ;) Besides, I don't think I can pronounce 95% of those names.

Lucius , Chloe , Onyx , Anton , just to name a few :p

When my violins ( Or if they ) get to a larger size I'm going to have some wicked names for em

No, not Dexter's Lab. Just Dexter. The show about a serial killer who only kills other murderers.
