Hi and welcome! I'm new too, I have 2 madagascan Marbled mantises that I raised to adulthood with little problems, it seems like there's a ton of mantises that are ideal for beginners. Just gotta warn you; so far this seems like a super addictive hobby.

ooh! I want a female budwing as my next mantis! They have such pretty displays. How big do they usually get? Would it be ok to order them in late summer?

S. Lineolas are very easy as well as ghosts.

Ghosts are easy?! WANT. What about Popa Spurcas? Would they be good as a second mantis? Or should I wait until spring? They're such cute little monkeys....
