Odd discharge after mating?

Hey All,

My recently mated ghost did something odd - though maybe normal.

She glued what looks like the very beginnings (very tiny bit) of an ooth (whatever the ooth fluid is called) to a stick....and that's it....didn't actually produce an ooth.

It's a really small amount - but I'm almost positive it's ooth fluid, not the ejected spermataphor....since it came out lime green and dried brown, just like a regular ooth.

So is it this ok, or does it signify any trouble?

Well if it is ooth is not normal. Sounds like the sperm packet.

Sometimes she will lay a very tiny ooth, don't know why, but am used to seeing this in ghost species.

Looks like Hibiscusmile & Sporeworld were right! She did the same weird thing I mentioned above two more times, then produced a big, beautiful ooth. So I guess it's all good.
