Basic mantis care should be sufficient. I don't recall the genus being difficult to keep.

They should not be kept together unless very tiny or you've got a lot extra and watch out for the adult females. You can laugh at a Tenodera trying to mangle your hand but not one of these.

You will love your rhombos!

Few things you should know is they have great sight for mantids, listen to orin when he says they can deliver quite the pinch. Most aggressive mantids I've kept. Even though they are ferocious as they are, they're very friendly with people, like I said, good eyesight on this mantis, as it will make plenty of eyecontact and reach for the face. Cute, but when its meal time, all predator.

Also a side note, I've had some mismolt on the secomd to last and last molt, keep the humidity up these last forms, I do believe rhombo is a rainforest dweller

Is anyone currently keeping these? I haven't seen any for sale in forever.

Hmmm I have visible scars on my hands from my a Tenodera girls and I love their aggressive attitude... I'm thinking I would definitely love the rhombos ^.^

I thought they had died out, glad to see someone back with them, the stallis are smaller,I kept them like the asians but they will need a bit more spray when shedding until L3+ then they're pretty easy, the first time i bred them had no issues, the second time male was on and connected for hours and we got no babies :\ i think it has to do with the male being really fresh though, and not too old, they're only agressive to other bugs,i find them lovely, where as chinese are mean to everything lol
