I have several cups with about an inch of so of that dog food media, only it is mixed with a small amount of dead, rotting flies.
I still have 2 large screen cages outside that I had to move outside due to the smell of the food, because I mixed some rotting flies in with it, the smell became stronger after a week... lol
Anyways, the first few days it was outside out on my deck, it was around 75 during the day, and 68 at night, really humid too.
Today is cold, it is around 50 now. I am going to check outside, hopefully all of the flies are on the floor half asleep.
My question is, would these maggots in the containers still be a live?
Can small, medium, and even full grown house fly maggots be OK in refrigerator temps.???
