Sphodromantis nymph attacks!

[SIZE=11pt]While attempting to feed my Budwing mantis, I accidentally dropped a mealworm near a Giant African nymph and this is what happened:[/SIZE]

I thought it would run away for sure since it's still so small. These guys are going to be very interesting to watch when they're bigger.

I once owned a viridis, I can tell you that they are indeed extremely aggressive with their meals. I never got the chance to breed mine but he was a monster from L2 up to death.

Thanks guys. I thought my budwings were aggressive, but even they were not this bold when they were nymphs lol.

Oh I know. I was comparing my budwings to the giant african mantis. I own both species.
