These are not expensive and dont seem as likely to esacpe as crickets. Anyone have a guess as to the likelyhood of Asian's eating these as food ? They woulde be easier for me to grab and toss into the mantis cage and probably LESS likely to attack the mantis.
I just do not think it would be a good idea to toss in a dozen crickets with a mantis, whereas a dozen of these dont seem like they would be a problem.

SuperwormsMost reptiles, arachnids, and amphibians like their meals and snacks served up still moving, so active superworms are the perfect choice. Softer body than mealworms makes them easier to digest.
What’s super-tasty, super-healthy, and super-fun to eat? Superworms, of course!
Superworms are very active worms, which makes them irresistible to herps. Most reptiles, arachnids, and amphibians like their meals and snacks served up still moving, and nothing will get their appetites revved up like a Superworm. You’ll enjoy watching them chase the worms and slurp them up, and they’ll enjoy the hunt and the nutritional benefits. Approximately 2.5” in length, Superworms have a softer body than mealworms, which means they’re even easier for your pet to digest. Try “super-sizing” your pet’s next meal!
Care Instructions
Superworms are a tropical insect, which means they require warmer temperatures than standard mealworms. They should be maintained at 70-80 degrees. Your Superworms are shipped in a box with egg crate. When they arrive, place them in a plastic container on top of 2” of mealworm bedding, then layer another ½” on top. The plastic container should be about twice the size of a shoebox – a small cat pan usually works well since the plastic must be sturdy and you won’t need a lid. You should add a small amount of gelled water or potato every other day to provide moisture for the worms. Add fresh bedding every week or two to maintain the 2.5” layer. Plan on completely replacing the bedding every 3 to 4 weeks.
