I bring my mantids to my high school every now and again for presentations/research papers, plus I got them a class mantis pet!

Now I get to study/work next to her every day! :)

The principal calls me the school's entomologist. :stuart:

Every one seems to think my bugs are cute, they all like how the mantises turn their little heads and watch them.
there was a girl in my 8th grade class who thought that any hatchling saturniid moth was adorable

I should have silk moths once my silkworms spin. The silkworms are getting HUGE! I hear they are really fuzzy and fat like a winged mouse. I can't wait to serve some of them.

I don't have good hatch rates in my home. I think it's my humidity. so if you do well, please keep me in mind. I'll even take the moths, but the cocoons if sent a week before hatching will do.

I'll still get poor rates from yours, just not as bad as mine. :(

ok. So they are the smaller, feeder ones. The saturniids eclose, fly (Males are usually the only who do it now),mate, fly, (Both males and females), die (Males only), lay die (females)
