I was running way to low on FF today, and my L1/L2 ghost nympths were looking pretty hungry. You know when they start to get that look in there eyes.. And then they start looking at each other! So I figured well they have to grow up some

time? So i thru in some normal sized house flys, and to my suprise an L1 nympth quickly hoped on for a ride and showed that fly whos boss! Then other soon followed suit. I know I dont post much but i gotta say.... I was proud today ^_^

Have my nympths been shooting up(I only kidd ha ha)?Or has everone already known this:p

Pretty impressive! I've had Chinese and violins eat houseflies at L1, and Idolos bluebottles at L1. However, they are all much bigger mantids than ghosts (twice the size).

You must have some little beasts there :D

I've noticed that younger ghost nymphs tend to be more aggressive (realative to body size) than older ones...

Up through about l3 they'll sometimes attack things LARGER than they are....which is unusual for mantids. I just had an L3 take down a moth that was at least as large, most likely larger, than the nymph. It looks kind of funny, actually - and there was another one looking on....I can only imagine the on-looker asking "hey, you gonna finish that?"

:D
