The photos are gorgeous! Might I ask what the mantis is standing on that gave it a white reflection in the photos?

for most of my mantid in studio shot threat display photos I use two 36 x 36 softboxes black or white Plexiglass with matching background colors. my camera is a canon eos1d Mark IV. I normally use a 100L 2.8 USM stopped down to F/16 for these shots

very pretty mantis shots, what color do u set the plexi on?

its solid white plexiglass like they use in doctors offices to veiw ex-rays. it comes in several solid colors. I shot the example below on black plexiglass
