Thats a bummer to hear but I had my first mantid fall during her last molt she messed up her whole one side had to hand feed her and help her move her will power to keep herself alive was amazing she laid one half of an ooth then passed she was one of my most favorite

I totally agree with you I always get my feeders from a very good local pet store Ive know them along time. In my experience the females of the more aggressive species like eating fish more

Mantid's are pretty tough since they have a strong willl to live they usually wont attack if they dont think they can eat it, but aslong as you watch them you can control the situation just like when yhey mate :clown:

You could always use or try rosies they are smaller than gold fish,kinda like minnows

No disrespect! but gold fish are a feeder for my gar, so I shared with my lovely Queens

Yes they do! I have 2 male and female "beauty and beast" but they are both beast's most the time lol. But I handle very limited due to the nature of the bite,I have been bitten and does not feel good endless pain for a week or so!
