Yup, the text shows up but I can't click it.
By the way, I love that you can directly upload pics from your computer onto the forum now instead of having to get the URL, this is something I have wanted on the Allpet roaches forum for a while! :)
I'll keep my eyes peeled, those Rhynocoris look nice! I saw some very nice assassin bugs back in 2014, but I did not collect any. This year I plan on going out more, so hopefully I'll get the chance to collect some!
Wow, glad they are doing well for you! I really want to get into breeding some of the true bugs, I need to find some native assassin bugs or predatory shield bugs!
Well they probably still glue the oothecae to a surface like some roaches, just after it is already hardened. I saw these in the "Guide to the Cockroaches of Australia", i love the fact that only the mouth-parts and the genitalia are sceloritized. Never thought they might be predatory. Does Kyle...
No problem! :) I am thinking it is a C.punctata.
P.S: The beetle in the image above the darkling beetle is a longhorn beetle in the tribe Lepturini, however there are a ton of similar looking species so it is hard to get a good ID from you picture.
