Why is my mantis biting at my skin sometimes? I’m not doing anything to him besides let him rest on my hand. It doesn’t hurt right now but it scares me— he’s gonna turn into a big mantis when he grows up.

I like both the giant rainforest mantis and the orchid mantis!  ALL mantids are pretty cool, though, all good lads

Really, what’s going on with Moriarty???  just a few hours ago he was completely fine, sitting still and stuff while I took pictures of him  then I go in to spray his enclosure and I see he has dark brown eyes, what’s going on??? It doesn’t look like eye rub.  please help!! I’m really worried

If you want someone reputable, MantidKingdom is wonderful! I ordered from there and got 2 beautiful and healthy mantids. I’ve heard horror stories about exofactory orders coming in with sick or dead mantises— it’s a scam, don’t go for it.
