I'm fascinated by the Giant Boxer mantis, but I never see it sold. Does anyone know of anyone that commonly breeds this mantis?

My four ghosts were all a dark brown as L2-L3 nymphs as well. They are all L6 now and only one of them is still a dark brown. One is light brown and two are green.

Distilled water is definitely the way to go. There are chemicals in tap water that are not harmful to us but are, in fact, harmful to our little mantis friends.

@Ocelotbren Awesome work replacing it! There are very specific spline diameters and a ton of options online, so it was confusing for me which one to buy. In the end, I used a pair of calipers to measure the exact spline needed for mine and didn't need to use any glue.

@Mystymantis  @Ocelotbren I also swapped the aluminum mesh out for a fiberglass mesh. The process is detailed in a post of mine here.

There are care sheets on this forum, bugsincyberspace.com, and panterrapets.com. I've looked at those mostly. They are a fairly easy species to keep. So far I've done 6 fruit flies per nymph into the enclosure ever other day. I spray their enclosure 2 times a day most days (you can probably be...
