1)Hello i was wondering what the mantis molting posture looks like and what are the signs of a molt?2)Is this fruit fly culture any good and how do you no if there flightless Fruit Fly Culture?

Regards Alex
Typically, when a mantis molts, it won't eat for a few days prior. And it sort of stays still, with it's head tucked between it's arms. Hard to describe really.

I have pics of it, but not whilst it is in it's 'i'm going to molt' pose.

after it molts, you'll see the thin papery husk of its skin, mine are always tannish brown, and since my carolina mantids are green, they always look bigger and Turquoise right after they molt, for a few hours, til they darken to green again. They always hang upside down and start to look like an elongated turquoise blob and then they slowly emerge head first, then arms and legs, leaving the old skin hanging.
