Well, the result won't be catastrophic where they are bent upon eating each other. At subadult down, I noticed that they can't even seem to catch one another. (At least mine) They just have like a scratching match until one runs away. At adult however, they are able to easily. I wouldn't recommend keeping them together just to be safe.....if you have a lot however, you can give it a try. Try to keep them well fed.

In an attempt to get mine to breed, my adult pair has been cohabitating for about a week...no problems yet. Doesn't mean you should do this though, its probably a really bad idea. :rolleyes:

 
Thier really aggressive and can take large food sources so i wouldnt risk it either
