Nope I don't. I found her last year just chillin' on the tire.

Anyone know what kinda Mantis she is? Sorry this is the only pic I took.

Absolutely. I've been crawling around in the weeds looking for mantids since I was old enough to walk. If they're there I'll find em.

I see you started this topic ;) Yes, I do. I could just be walking along not thinking at all about a mantid and then suddenly I just.... spot one! I'm actually getting sick of having too many mantids. I see one, and then I can't pass up the opportunity to catch it, then I run out of containers because I have so many.... then I can't feed them all.... Anyways, that's the main reason I only keep wild caughts, is I'm able to find so many. Luckily for me, I find them pretty well again when I lose one in the house too, but not always....

Also, I agree with the other two, the one on the tire is Californica :)

Yep, I knew I had it when I was about 13 and at camp. We were all playing outside, there were some bushes outside the windows all along the side of the building. I'm walking on by like all the other kids and I look at the bushes, not for anything in particular, I just looked at them. I saw a tiny triangular head though. The thought of it being a mantis flashed through my mind but we were all walking in single file so I couldn't check. 20 minutes later when our camp counselor let us play on our own I went back and sure enough found a mantis.
