Does anyone freeze their unused fruit fly medium?

I recently made a batch of fruit fly medium, but I made enough for three cultures. I don't have a use for that many ff so I just put it in a plastic bag and threw it in the freezer. Has anyone done this? Does it work as well as the fresh medium?

I dont see why not. Yeast is in frozen unbaked bread and rises when thawed out, so should be ok. ps, nothing like trying to see

what happens.
