Enclosures with multiple nymphs?

I am curious to find out others experiences in keeping numbers of smaller, same species nymphs together in larger enclosures. My only personal experience with this is with Ghost Mantids. I kept large numbers together in a large enclosure with lots of space, etc. I provided plenty of food and they did extremely well. In the later stages I separated them into individual containers.

My question is would this work with Idolomantis? And would it work with Violin Mantids?

they are communial so it is probably ok ... i am not doing it since i only have 5 and wont risk a problem .... if i had 20 i would do it and not worry ;- )
