i bought them to raise nymphs in and it has big holes in the netting

I make my own cages then you know the netting is suitable

They do have large-ish holes, but they're really good for stick insects and larger mantids, i think if you decide to make your own, you're best using a mosquito type netting, with reallly fine holes
