Yep, Student of environmental studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. I plan on doing work with mantids soon. Oh and I have a ghost mantis, her name is belle <3.

Welcome. What work are you planning on doing involving mantids?

I can't reveal too much as I haven’t written my paper yet, but it has to do with testing the effects of visual stimulation on a developing mantis

on a Side note

I've never cared for a mantis before but the flys (house flys) that came with my mantis seem liek they're going to be too big for my mantis to catch and eat. I believe she's a L2 nymph, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help?

Welcome, I feed my L2's fruit flies, but I've given L3's the larger Blue Bottle flies so an L2 ghost might be able to catch it.

Thank you, I have one house fly in her cage now, guess I'll just have wait and see what happens. Also can you give me any advice of fruit fly culturing? (like a link or tips or anything really.)

Welcome!

I think a house fly is too big for an L2 P. paradoxa, you better try fruitflies.
