I don't know how it my mantis died...

So okay one day it's fine and it's active and it eats a grasshopper next day it's moving slower then it gets on its stick then falls off and it's dead... Idk what happened.. Can anyone help?

Look pretty healthy it's was trying to run from the mantis then he ate the whole thing..

Kinda new at this so I really have no clue but it's pretty small. It's was about 3 inches.

Could be the food, maybe the grasshopper ate some grass that was poisoned?

Sounds like he ate a sick grasshopper. I've heard of some bad crickets from pet stores causing peoples mantises to get sick and die. Could be that your mantis ate a grasshopper that got some nasty pesticides on it.

Maybe it was dying, which is why it was easy to catch? A small dose and a slow death.

I've been grasshopper catching a few times and they where not that hard to catch with a net
