Is it a good idea to use isopods to help with keeping my mantids the enclosers clean? I'm asking this because my little ghosties still eat small food, so it would be pretty hard to even spot any left overs in the encloser, and even harder to pick them up with the big tweezers I have now. I know nothing will replace just changing the substrat, but still. I don't like body parts in the enclosers, and it CANT be good for the mantids. Some people use isopods with their tarantulas, so I dont really think they can hurt the mantids, but i'm still not to sure. Is it a good idea?

Mantis cages tend to be well-ventilated and dry in which case the isopods will die.

What Orin said. Besides, most of us use subtrates that can easily be removed and replaced.
