It is right time for a change?

Hi my Chinese mantids are now like L4 or L3 dont know really cus i bought them L1/L2 they are 2,5cm long now. Im keeping them in plastic cups 7cm wide 5cm high. And my mantids are about to moult and i really dont know if i need to change cups to bigger ones? I have for example 10cm high and 10cm wide. And i have a question about top of cup i have plactic closing and i can make holes with spike but i dont know if it will suffice enough wentilation and good grip for mantis? Whats your advices?

If unsure , move them!!!! They need something that if they come out of their skin and hang from the very end of it, that they will not touch bottom, so three times its height and two times its width!

ps, a nice piece of cloth they can grab glued onto the top is good. Or rubbered banded around the container instead of the plastic lid.
