New to matids

My family and I are new to having matids. We have a adult female Griffin and a nymph ghost mantis.

Hello and welcome to the forum

I've raised many of both species you have, and both are great for beginners. I found the Griffins (Polyspilota griffinii) are great for keepers who enjoy larger mantids. The Ghosts (Phyllocrania paradoxa) are one of my favorites due to their personalities and traits if hand tamed. Some Ghosts if not handled much tend to avoid contact at nearly all costs  and are skittish.
