Suitable For House?

This was initially for a fish tank, but I thought it'd be cool to put in my mantids` enclosure. The only concern I have is it getting stuck or something. Some pictures I have provided below should help determine.

you can use it in a house for them, but not their house. they will hang out on it.

I have an old fish ornament in one of my cages. The mantises never touch it but I think it looks pretty.
