Wow, one of the best camouflages I've ever seen in the animal kingdom. It took me a few seconds to make out what body part was which in some of the pictures. I can usually tell right off the bat with other insects. Astounding, thanks for sharing.

I actually live in Texas now, but that may be a reason why it was so hard for me to obtain them. I have no interests in circkets or grasshoppers, but there's something about the Lubbers that gets me.

I bought them like that. I have no idea how they got them to bloom. I'm thinking of using different types of moss and see which one grows best. The stores and local nursery I've checked carry large broms only. The one in the picture is actually the smallest I've found. I'll keep checking though.
