    I was the one to lock the above thread and was also the mod to be involved in the 'action' today. Nobody is perfect and the locked thread couldve been dealt with better,I believe what I did today to be far more inline with how it should be handled. Don't think it needs to be any more than that...

    The only way you could do it is to post them Back to yourself and hope they survive/get through customs. Very dodgy grounds though so best to avoid :-/

    Had some ooths arrive,thought that they didnt look as expected but sent a picture and asked him to clarify.This past weekend the odd ones out hatched and were Chinese Mantis,Not the ones that we had agreed on.     Parasitic beetles.... Any ideas?

    It has been identified as a 'dermestes' species of beetle that usually feeds on animal proteins and can sometimes infest good stores.The ootheca came from China and there is a fair bit of documentation about them. Gonna give it a few days then feed it to a mantis lol ;-)

    Yeah i saw that as well,blooming disgusting! I've had 9hatch now.They seem to hatch at first light from what I've seen :-)

    Howdy, I had my first wc ooth produce parasitic wasps overnight. So far I've found 3females Just wondering how long before they are able to reproduce and also how many can I be expecting to hatch? Thanks :-)
