does anyone know much about parasitic hymenoptera? i ask because i'm getting worried i might have some knocking about. ive heard of them sometimes hatching out of wild caught oothecae, but i never buy wild caught oothecae. i have about ten of these tiny black wasps in and around my g.ogngylodes...

i boughtsome fruit fly cultures a few weeks back in preparation for some otheca hatches and young nymphs arriving. two of them were pretty much exhausted, but i bought them for the sheer number of flies which was more useful to me than a young culture as i planned to start some of my own anyway...
this might seem like a strange question but have any of you ever fed first instar mantids by crushing up fruit flies with some water (making a kind of soup) and spraying this into the hatchlings container? i ask because i remember reading about someone doing this either on here but i cant find...
