i was able to watch my Chinese Mantis in the middle molting. everything looked good and i was very careful in not banging onto my table. i left and when i came back, i found one back leg curved. the other leg is straight but he seems to still not want to land it

not sure why it happened, it looked straight a while ago when he was upside down.

does this mean i would have to hand feed him since he wont be able to chase after his food?

I've had the same thing happen with the legs. I have no idea what causes them to stretch out and get all curved like that. But I've had it happen before on the back legs. They usually get around just fine, just a little difficulty clinging on to the lid and sticks etc. A molt should fix it.

That one will be fine. That is only one leg. She also has more molts so it may be corrected.
