At home today I went to check on my Chinese ooths in the garage and found a bird feasting on them. Eleven ooths were gone, only three left. I'm not sure how long the bird has been coming in there, but I was so mad I grabbed a tennis racket and swung to get the bird away, but ended up knocking it into the wall and killing it.

Now I feel horrible because almost a dozen of my fertile ooths are gone and I accidentally killed the poor bird who just wanted a meal.

Make sure your ooths are inside or at least hidden outside!!

Aw, I feel your pain, too bad, if the birds areound u r hungry, try settin out some seed or bread or even mashed up leftovers, many birds go hungry over the winter, and if it would not of got them, a mouse prob would of.

That sux man, I think if you put them in a closed paper bag it may help to keep the animals out of your ooth supply. I know this comes a little late, but hey we live and learn-which ruffly translated means "sun of a b#tch must I always learn things the hard way" !!! And at least you have 3 left, beats none.

Sorry to hear of your dilemna. Just a bad situation all around. Good thing is that the ooths hatch a lot of nymphs. Good luck with the rest.

That really suck! I didnt really know birds went after ooths! What kind of bird was it? I think it's best to keep them indoors I guess in a controlled environment...
