I finally got an elusive green nymph! I've changed 3 things since the last molt:

1. Temps 95+ 24/7

2. Wild caught food

3. Blue carpet underneath container.

Not the best photo I've taken, but its running around like crazy. Does anyone know if its male or female?

I think it's female. Male's antennae look are feathery. Not positive though.

What's the blue carpet for?
I moved them down stairs because I couldn't take the space heater in my room during the spring. The carpet was just on the table and I put their cups on top of it. Some people think that colors are determined by environment, so it might have something to do with the green color.

One of my males has been green since his 3rd instar.

Yours looks female--the antennae appear too thin to be male. My males have considerably thicker antennae.

It also doesn't appear like it has the smaller last extra lobe on the underside of the abdomen that the males have.
