Religiosa are capable of doing this too. I have witnessed this first hand.

Yeah, my wild m. religiosa female did that. It sorta became a ritual. I'd let her out of her enclosure, she'd hiss. I'd give her a solar tattoo (magnifying glass style) she'd hiss. I'd play whack-a-mole with her, and she'd hiss, if she still could.

However, I soon ran out of mantises to play with. :no: :lol:
