    Messed up male Popa

    I had the same problem with my p.affinis , either gently blow on them or leave them hanging upside down , give them a while as it sometimes doesnt happen straight away . It took over 1/2 an hour for mine to connect Good luck!

    Usually it doesn't fully grow back , it generally just looks like a smaller leg. As long as its still healthy there is nothing to worry about

    Acanthops sp can live for over a year as adults and take 4+ months to mature and can lay 20+ oothecae

    Defo worth a try , take the head off whatever you are feeding it and gently place it towards its mouth. It might be a bit hesitant at first but once it gets a taste it will know what you are doing Good luck

    My idolos grew quite fast , moulted every 12-15 days and the last 30 days , just about 4 months For longest lived i would put acanthops sp in as they can live as adults for over a year
