Just wanted to share this video of a Panther chameleon

Sorry for the late reply Brian, been crazy this end with uni stuff. Great to hear your babies are doing well, you'll have your hands full when the rest of the eggs hatch I'm sure. I've kept many species of chameleon myself, lateralis, hoehnelii, deremensis, jacksonii, calyptratus, etc...

Wow, that's very impressive! I've wanted an Ambilobe for a long while, but they are understandably expensive. What chams do you have Brian?

Gongylus Gongylodes (Violin mantis) ootheca for sale

Hello All, Lots of wild caught ootheca of Gongylus Gongylodes coming in from Southern India in the next couple of weeks. Last year I got some of these, and had a near on 100% hatch rate on them, so looking forward to the same results this year. £20 per ootheca, and shipping in the UK will be...

    Bird or Chameleon?

I'd go for the chameleon :) They are fantastic reptiles to keep, and if hand reared from young, will happily tollerate being handled. When I used to keep jacksonii, one of the young ones which we gave a lot of hand contact, would gladly climb onto your hand if you put it in, one of the tamest...

    Paratoxodera cornicollis

I also saw this. Quite possible if it's someone located, or know's someone located in Malaysia. But the chances of these staying alive in captivity is fairly slim, I believe. Also Paul, you must realise that posting 50 odd adverts in a small time span on terraristik will not do you any...

    Video: Mantis Eats Sushi!

Clearly, there are cultural differences here. I know this thread has caused a lot of controversy, some wish to keep it open, some are offended by this. Personally, I don't see a problem, but I think this thread will be thought over as to whether it stays or not. On behalf of people who have...

    Video: Mantis Eats Sushi!

Falling apart? The forum is far from falling apart. Disagreements happen in all online communities, a group of 1000 plus members clearly aren't going to agree on every subject brought up. It's clear to see for current and new members (including those trying to be "taken away"), that Mantidforum...

    Video: Mantis Eats Sushi!

Rob, a bit of criticism is fine. Personal attacks are not. And why is it you think that every time you make a complaint, action should be taken? Fair enough if there's something you disagree with, obviously you're entitled to your opinion. But because you don't like what you see, doesn't mean...

    Video: Mantis Eats Sushi!

I didn't remove your post. And yes, you were flaming. In response to your question, do I think it's responsible? Personally, I don't see why there is such a big deal about it, I guess it comes down to personal preference. Can I see why people are offended? To some degree, yes. I would say that...

Just one tip when you receive such emails. If you do go ahead and buy, never send the money in advance, unless they are known dealers. Show them proof you are legitimate - your mantidforum profile, website if you have one, breeder feedback profile, etc. If they are not willing to go ahead...

    Total Security Computer virus

Also, another tip. Disable system restore, and then restart your PC. Often a virus will get backed up in system restore, so when you switch back on your PC, it will regenerate from the restored files. This is another thing that a lot of people bypass, that actually causes a lot of problems...
